The concept, we believe is excellent in that it gives flexibility, but has a structure to follow. By joining the group, we were able to enjoy so many places/sights that we may not have found had we been travelling independently. This is particularly true regarding staying at the stations in the high country. A highlight for us was the jet boat on the Waitoto River – such local knowledge.
